I got tickets from KGSO to sit on the floor for the Mo State game, and it is redonkulously loud on the floor. You could scream at the person next to you and he probably wouldn't hear you when its rocking. I imagine it is even louder out on the floor, and supposedly there is a dead spot for sound right in the middle. Or at least there used to be, with the new scoreboard that may not exist anymore. I used to run sound back the 89-90 and 90-91 seasons, and remember some players saying there was a funky nearly silent spot out there somewhere.

Koch and Phog are march madness, but are they as mad as a drink with real coke taste and zero calories?

On top of that there isn't a bad seat in the house. And when you fill it with 10,500 crazy Shocker fans, it just doesn't get any better anywhere at anytime.

And if you don't believe me after attending over 50 games at each venue, listen to Fran Fraschilla, an unbiased third person.
Absolutely. But try saying that to the KU homers around here. They will pull out the "free pass to be an a**hole" card.
We don't have to "upstage" the Jayhawks by telling them that Koch is better than AFH. Truth is, they are both exceptional places to watch a game with different strengths. Any college basketball fan, or sports fan for that matter, can get a great show at either place. If you tell a KU fan how great Koch is and he doesn't believe you, take him to a game! Very few would be able to say it wasn't awesome with a straight face.
