According to their poster...re home & home with WSU:

"We tried to get a home and home with Wichita State last year but Marshall insisted on a 2 for 1 which we turned down.

Cougar fans can be most proud of the great comeback their team made. The pucker factor came back into play near the end. A lot of teams don't even have a player who can hit the rim from those distances.

Really, really, good player. He's going to be fun to watch.
I can see why Marshall payed him a personal visit last year. Too bad for us it didn't work out.

My sugestion is we consider last night the extra game in Wichita and go ahead with a 1 for 1 deal.

After having seen both their games against Cleveland State and the game last night, am I the only one who thinks that Weideman's game has quite a bit in common with Doug McDermott's?

I've only seen him play the once, but I can see that. He would have been a nice get for the Shox, but it wasn't meant to be...

Weideman is a nice player and Hall was a nice looking soph. However CofC really has their work cut out for them to replace Goudelock and Monroe.

I also watched the same 2 games as you and I was very impressed with Weideman in both games. I couldn't believe he was only a Freshman.
