Don't know if anyone heard Braeuer being interviewed on 1410 this morning. Some interesting comments:

He had high praise for the current coaching staff (not a surpise), saying they out-worked any coaching staff he knew of. Also high praise for the way Marshall stresses academics, and makes sure everyone follows NCAA rules.
When asked what his (Matt's) coaching aspirations were, Matt replied he would never want to coach above the WSU level. That kind of got my attention.

And John Kresse was on 1240 this morning. Communicator par excellence.. Fifth best all-time winning % in NCAA D-1 history yet he seems an unknown. What up with that?

Hire the midget after Marshall leaves. Sure he will struggle for 5 years or so learning the ropes but then you will have a seasoned 30 year old who is loyal to WSU. That will take the shox into 2050 or so before they need a new coach. :D

That's nice. I guess we'll just have to slum it with the former Kresse assistant, Gregg Marshall, until we can get a Coach K connection going on.. a step up.. maybe when Marshall leaves here sooner rather than later.
