Originally posted by SekShockerAnybody have any good places for a family to go watch the game? My family and I are coming to Wichita for the baseball game and then staying a couple days so my son can go to the WSU spring baseball camp. I don't want to miss the basketball, but to leave in time to make it to the baseball game I would have to leave around half time. So I was thinking about coming out early on Sunday and find a place to watch the game and then I wouldn't have to either leave and miss some of the game, or be way late to the baseball game. I have a hotel room for Sunday, but I doubt they will let me check in at like 9:30 or 10 Sunday morning. Thanks.Follow me on twitter: https://twitter.com/Shox_KCfan

I guess the NIT rules really don't apply to BCS teams. For some the glass is half full and for others half empty. My glass is out of ice.

Watched the N'Western at BC game this morn. The ESPN analysts obviously don't think much of our team. Every time they put up the promo for the game tomorrow, all they talked about was VT. How good VT is. The talk about how VT should have been in the NCAA Tournament. How VT has a first team ACC player. They even showed the ACC first team and talked about how great they all are. I may have missed it, but I never heard them so much as mention a single WSU player. NOT ONE. Never mentioned HCGM. Not a single comment about WSU, except the challenge we face in VT.
I would think ESPN would want to promote the idea of two good evenly matched teams that will play a good close game as a way to get people to watch. But maybe their egos wouldn't allow it.
Just for ESPN, I hope the shocks pound another BCS team."Hank Iba decided he wouldn't play my team anymore. He told me that if he tried to get his team ready to play me, it would upset his team the rest of the season." Gene Johnson, WU Basketball coach, 1928-1933.
