So I was thinking about coming out early on Sunday and find a place to watch the game and then I wouldn't have to either leave and miss some of the game, or be way late to the baseball game. I have a hotel room for Sunday, but I doubt they will let me check in at like 9:30 or 10 Sunday morning. Thanks.
Check with the hotel. If they aren't sold out Saturday night, they should have rooms available on Sunday morning.

not that im looking ahead, because its goin to be a very tough task to beat VT, but wouldnt be interesting if College of Charleston beat clev. st., and we get them at home, because wasnt 3G a assistant there for a while under John Kresse?

I think he pulled a Gene Stephenson/Altman on them a couple of years ago too.

The first 2,000 get free t-shirts over there at Tech, in conjunction with our great name, I'm predicting 6,437 in attendance.

I guess the NIT rules really don't apply to BCS teams.
Jerry Jones will add them to his Super Bowl attendance and claim the record.

Watched the N'Western at BC game this morn. The ESPN analysts obviously don't think much of our team. Every time they put up the promo for the game tomorrow, all they talked about was VT. How good VT is. The talk about how VT should have been in the NCAA Tournament. How VT has a first team ACC player. They even showed the ACC first team and talked about how great they all are. I may have missed it, but I never heard them so much as mention a single WSU player. NOT ONE. Never mentioned HCGM. Not a single comment about WSU, except the challenge we face in VT.

I would think ESPN would want to promote the idea of two good evenly matched teams that will play a good close game as a way to get people to watch. But maybe their egos wouldn't allow it.

Just for ESPN, I hope the shocks pound another BCS team.
"Hank Iba decided he wouldn't play my team anymore. He told me that if he tried to get his team ready to play me, it would upset his team the rest of the season." Gene Johnson, WU Basketball coach, 1928-1933.
