Not the most user friendly message board layout. Makes one grateful for what we haver here at ShockerNet.
Since the thread has developed a highly religious tone let's hope the Shocks are not satisfied with one good game and that they have adopted a "Mission From God" attitude that Jake and Elwood would be proud of.
Maybe that can find an Evangelical church with a Rev. Cleophus James for some divine inspiration.
VT giving us quite a bit of respect on their message board tonight. They actually feel they don't match up well with us right now as they have some injuries so they play a pretty small lineup.
Another thing I noticed while skimming their message board is that VT (like Okie St) apparently ignored the NIT ticket rules. On several different places on their message board they talked about the students getting in for free. Apparently students only had to show their student ID to get into the NIT game.
Also it sounds like their NIT ticket prices range from $5 to $15. One guy asked how much tickets for Sunday's game cost and another answered you can get them for $5 on line, another said you can get them for $5 in front of the arena.
There was another post about tickets costing $15. But at any rate it sounds like they are letting students in for free and charging less than normal prices for everyone else.
I'm glad I'm Catholic -- Saturday night service or sunday at 7am or sunday at 5pm or 7pm
Y'all are welcome to switch and enjoy our convenient mass times.
I'm Lutheran and our church has Saturday night services also. Both Lutherans and Catholics are alike except we don't pray and confess our sins to "false idols" like Mary, Fathers, etc. We do however like to drink
Anybody have any good places for a family to go watch the game? My family and I are coming to Wichita for the baseball game and then staying a couple days so my son can go to the WSU spring baseball camp. I don't want to miss the basketball, but to leave in time to make it to the baseball game I would have to leave around half time. So I was thinking about coming out early on Sunday and find a place to watch the game and then I wouldn't have to either leave and miss some of the game, or be way late to the baseball game. I have a hotel room for Sunday, but I doubt they will let me check in at like 9:30 or 10 Sunday morning. Thanks.
