Thanks. Tell you what. We'll go to NY and you guys go to Houston. We'll make a Mid-Major sandwich.
Where oh where is our T. Boone Pickens.

And it just confirms their cowardness. This confirms why nobody wants to come here and to other mid-majors. They know they'd get punked.

Then again, this was Nebraska, and we should be the one getting 2 for 1's from them.

KC, this was a pretty good day today for our two big sports. Even for a realist person like myself, can't you just drop the act for one day? Damn dude..
Wow! That came out of left field. What did I say in the basketball thread that would make you ponder as to why I am not enjoying the success the Shox had today. I'm scratching my head right now.
Mainly, I was just hoping for one day without a negative comment. This day would have been a good day for it.

            • NOW THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKIN BOUT!!!

              :bball_spin: :thewave: :wsu_posters:

Just got back from the game. One of the best front to back, offensive/defensive great efforts I've seen for a while out of the Shocks! Everyone was into to the game with controlled, high energy.

I was whoopin' and a hollerin' and my hands were red from clappin'. Best of all, the Shocks keep those negative vibes that were in the back of my head right there. I'd catch myself looking at the score and figuring what UNL would have to do to catch us.....then it went to what they would have to do to get the final score around a 15 point spread....then it went to "please, please can you keep a 20 point lead".

Well, the Shocks gave the Huskers they're worse beat down of the season!

              Very well done boys!!

                Grrrrrr . . .
Didn't JC himself say something like "have you not read in the law how priest watch the shox beat down of epic proportions the hoakies on the sabbath and are innocent"
I was ashamed of myself for even considering skipping church, let alone when I'm committed. Not going to get my priorities out of whack over a basketball
                game.
Lol, I was only kidding, good for you

                • Man. I didn't even have to pull out the telekinesis or telepathy super powers -- they won it from the opening bell. Based on THIS game I would take Odum over Jeter. But I am sure this was just a horribly flat Nebraska team.

                      • I don't want to take anything away from the Shocks great effort, because it was great. But doesn't anyone here think Nebraska sucks? From what I saw tonight, they're a play-in MVC team. I kind of like Diaz when he's not being double teamed (he turns it over when you double team him), but aside from him, they are very unimpressive. I'm sure they were having a very bad night.

I had a great line of sight to where Tom Osborne was sitting in the first half, right behind the Nebraska bench. I notice he didn't come back the 2nd half. Do you think he was just embarassed and left? :D

                        • A fantastic game. I was glad to see my final alma mater kick my first alma mater's butt.

I loved seeing the Shockers take it to UNL tonight.

The red clad fans didn't have much to cheer about after their fan ran across the court with that huge UNL flag.

I hear you my friend. I actually had a mini breakdown at half when I started thinking about the "what ifs"......

If nothing else, 3 easy wins in St. Louis and a decent shot at advancing in the dance.

I'm trying not to think about it again.....fail.
