I kind of like Diaz when he's not being double teamed (he turns it over when you double team him), but aside from him, they are very unimpressive. I'm sure they were having a very bad night.

I had a great line of sight to where Tom Osborne was sitting in the first half, right behind the Nebraska bench. I notice he didn't come back the 2nd half. Do you think he was just embarassed and left? :D
He was probably calling the lawyers to make sure they put that no-fault out clause in Sadler's recently signed contract extension!

I'm going out on a limb and say that none of those posters saw the Indiana State game 12 days ago.
      Or the SIU game!

A couple of them were in attendance tonight:

          • I just read the comments on hog-heaven board. It cracks me up. They are looooooooooony at best. 3-G should just skip the 10 am game Sunday, skirt past ArKANSAS and go right to the college basketball Hall of Fame.

That screech of brakes you just heard was the UPS guy driving up to the Chuck to deliver the key to the state of Arkansas to Gregg Marshall.

I'm glad they will settle for a coach who under performed with a team picked to dominate the 12th best conference in America. Farewell Gregg, it sure was fun (I'm totally keystroking this with amazing sarcasm by the way).

            • Did anyone notice that Jim Burr was one of the officials tonight? Withdraws from the Big East tournament because of the end of game fiasco. Wonder if he has been excluded from the NCAA tourney officials.

And after a call he had no position to see and the overturned out of bounds call, I was hoping he wasn't going to make a crucial call.

He did appear to have X-ray vision on the foul call.

                  • Shocks passing was very good tonight but how about the kick-out by JT to Joe, then the quick no-look from the top of the key to Gabe for a bunny.

                    That was sweeeeeeeeeeeeet!

                    • Props to the players, coaches, and the fans who showed up tonight for not mailing in and wanting to make the best out of the situation we were in. It made me proud that I am a Shocker!!!!! :wsu_posters:

But they were 7336 great fans!
Was it just me or did it seem like there were more than 7336 there tonight.

I thought the crowd seemed very similar in size to the 9000+ that attended the Nevada game last year.

                        • Quick, see if Nebraska will sign the dotted line and play us each Season for about the next 4 Seasons. We will both get 2 home games? Do you think K-State will want to keep playing Colorado since they are leaving the Big 12? Muhahahahahaha!!!!!!!
Shocker basketball will forever be my favorite team in all of sports.

I thought it looked like 7,336, but is was a very energetic 7,336 who, like the Shocker team wanted to be there.

                            From the Lincoln Journal Star:

Wichita State jumped to a 10-0 lead, putting a boisterous crowd into an eardrum-shattering frenzy. While many fans make it a tradition to stand until their team scores, WSU fans stand -- and cheer -- until the opposing team scores.

That took 4:18 of game time Wednesday.

                            • Great, great day. Baseball then watching the Shox just pound the crap out of Nebraska... awesome. Crowd was great (take that season ticket holders), parking sucked (as usual)... but a great time.

I know it's been asked or said, but where was that team at the last month? Awesome job!

Like I said earlier - these are the fans I want out there every game. The rest can stay home.
