This is truly the worst year for the Valley since '91 or so.

Congratulations to ISU, though, anyway. I'm glad they stuck a foot into the mouth of MSU. Now they can go on to receive the blowout that MSU/WSU had awaiting them in the NCAA tournament (just like '91 for the MVC).

Remembering Jason Perez's comments about the SWAC. Pretty athletic but not very fundamentally sound. Low-level basketball in nearly every case.

I'm concerned about WSU's NIT chances now. Mo State is definitely in the NIT as a conference champion. If we're were a 7th or 8th seed as some brackets projected, we may not even make the NIT!

I lost a bit of respect for Martin after he left Marshall at the scorer's table, waiting for a handshake last weekend. You can get all excited for your now meaningless conference regular season title, but at least have the courtesy to wait until after sending the opposing coach off with the handshake.
