Would any Shocker fans, players, coaches, etc. be satisfied with this Season without taking the Lew? On paper, we were picked to win the Valley and now others pick us to win the Lew. Thus, paper is paper but we play the game between the lines. If there was ever a time to get tough minded, come together and peak as a team, and execute for 3 straight games, our future is now. March brings madness and this is the weekend of opportunity.

What Valley Team coming in has more motive to win than us? If there is such a team that comes in with more of a "eye of the mentality" than us, then we are milk toast anywho. Our fans will be there at the Lew in force and the rest of us will be glued to the tube and radio. No more wake up calls allowed. JUST DO IT SHOCKS and let's get it on and bring home the gold and Dance with the Stars. :wsu_posters:

I agree. But I have an unfunny feeling we won't either.
Years past, I would have agreed with you. Not this year. I think we are going the distance.
I agree...I think this is their year. :goshocks:

Mo. State stays alive with some lucky breaks and calls, some SIU gifts, missed throws, and some tough shots by Leonard again. If Creighton beats them tomorrow, i would not all all be surprised. The Shocks just need to play them one at a time. Stutz was a clutch tonight when JT was benched by premature fouls. If Stutz can continue to do the Lew, we may have to present him the keys to the fine City of Lou and 21st and Hillside through next March.

Is it that the Lew is being very cruel to us or are we just jinxed there? Deep down, I really and truly thought we would at least make the Finals. If so, I really did not think Mo. State could defeat us thrice. The law of averages was on our side? It is, it was our turn? If not, when, what, where why? Where were the basketball gods to right this wrong? I could not even begin to blame the refs for this loss.

This all seems to defy sound logic, or is it just me? We played better at the Lew last Season with Kyles hurt. Did losing Clevin hurt us that bad? Actually, I thought Clevin played better his Senior Season and believe that Ben Smith and Rags will have solid Senior Seasons as well. If we feel this bad, I can't imagine how bad the Shocks must feel as well. We just were not clicking together today and some of our weaknesses resurfaced and came back to haunt us. Teams all hope to be peaking when the getting is good in March. Today, I really thought the Shocks wanted it bad, but yet it was just not meant to be. Too much fouling, we could not prevent dribble penetration, and we settled for way too many 3's which brought our shooting % at a pace that results in losses.

Last but not least, our beloved Shocks have been, are, and will STILL always be my favorite team in all of sports.
