  • Overall I thought it was a fairly complete game. Another good road win. This team seems to really be finding their groove.

      Ok Shizz,
59-50 & the outcome still in doubt, GH makes 2 pressure FT's, makes a steal on InSU's next possession which leads to a basket.

Then he gets a key rebound on the next Indy possession leading to another basket and InSU was toast.

And you want to ***** about a silly T/O during garbage time?

      What a J.O. 8)
It was a quick post, after a TO that I have watched him make for 4 years.

I agree, it was a little much, looking back.

I just want him to realize there are others on the team who are better ball handlers and have been more consistent at the line.

Hence the "get rid of the d@m ball" quote.
We have a certain poster that believes Graham is beyond reproach. Regardless of the fact that everyone agrees he's an important part of the team. Nothing wrong with calling him out for a bonehead play. We do it for every other player. I'm sure Graham can take it. He's a 23-24 year-old man and I'm sure he got worse on his mission than somebody yelling at him about a basketball play.

        • Let me, the eternal optimist, make this pefectly clear. Our toughest road games are before us. "So far, so good on the road." We have an uphill battle, with the talent, the experience, and the abilities to go where we want to go. However, this is an uphill battle due to 2 rare home losses. Thus, stay tuned and keep your fingers and toes crossed, that our beloved Shocks can pull this off.

True that, our toughest road games are yet to come. It sure is nice to have a team that has confidence they can win on the road. It's been a long time!!! 83 maybe.

              • I think ball handling is one of the things TM struggles with at times as well.

When he has room to swerve through the defense to rim hes very good....when that space is taken away and he goes one on one against a quicker quard he often loses it or gets it stolen.

I watched him a couple times tonight turn and back his defender into the paint when he driving and then his quickness and length are devistating. Id like to see more of this type of play from him in the paint.

Your right..those 2 rare losses at home have turned this into a race. Im not much into what ifs ..but how good would 21-2 be right now....

                    • When Toure' penetrates, and either makes a key assist which he is doing quite well, or pulls up for the tear-drop shot, he prevails, versus when he plows down the defender flatter than a pancake, whom is waiting with baited breath. Can u dig it?

Sounds better than 19-4, that's for sure. Maybe the two home losses were a blessing in disguise.

                        • good win for the Shox, nice to see them develop a killer instinct. Wish I could have enjoyed the game and the aftermath more, but too ticked off at the world right now to do that. Did want to make a postgame comment though. Hopefully tomorrow will be better and I can give more thoughts on the game.

I think they have to be blessings...obviously we did not handle the pressure and didnt execute in the last few minutes of both of those games. We needed to mature ...so we needed the losses as crazy as that sounds.
