Seriously? I LOVED what I considered to be Toure's aggressiveness. To me, he looked like 'The guy that's not about to let his team lose to freaking Indiana State'. I'll have to watch it again and perhaps I'll have a different opinion.
I agree with the Dr. With the execption of the first shot, the charge towards the end of the first half and his misadventure in the lane in the second, I thought his game was very good. He should have had a couple more assists if we hadn't short armed some lay-ups. All I want Toure to do is play within himself. I'll be satisfied.
Where oh where is our T. Boone Pickens.

      • Don't look now but Ben Smith is leading the league during conference games in 3-Pt FG% at 0.600 (18-30).

Ben takes good shots, within the offense and in rythm and that certainly helps him shoot a high %.

Hopefully, he can keep it going and continue to get good shooting opportunities.

You wonder if teams may not start to focus on him a little more when he enters the game. The nice thing about Ben is that he is not one dimensional. He has great instincts inside and inch for inch and pound for pound he may be the best offensive rebounder in the league. I also think that Ben's defense has improved significantly through the season.

          • IF we don't turn the ball over more than 10 times a game then I don't see a problem with 15+ three point attempts a game.
The mountains are calling, and I must go.

            • This team needs to continue to shoot 3's and try and get a decent percentage back. It REALLY helps our big guys. We tend to struggle against good teams who go zone on us when our 3's aren't falling. This team has some good shooters and when you are in a slump the only way out is to keep shooting. I'm not talking about taking 30 3 point shots a game, but 15 or so within the flow of offense is a good thing IMHO.

              • Speaking of 3's, Drake had 15 tonight in their thumping of SIU, 65-44.

That was a mistake. I shall be stricken with quotefever for several days now.

For some reason, you sounded a little taller on the radio.
