This is why Graham can't be trusted. Get rid of the d@m ball.
Ok Shizz,
59-50 & the outcome still in doubt, GH makes 2 pressure FT's, makes a steal on InSU's next possession which leads to a basket.
Then he gets a key rebound on the next Indy possession leading to another basket and InSU was toast.
And you want to ***** about a silly T/O during garbage time?
What a J.O. 8)
That was a very crucial stage of the game. It was still very much in doubt at that point, and Hatch's leadership came through and I think put the game into the deep freeze for the Shocks.
This game makes us wonder why--why why we did not beat the splinters easily in regulation at 21st and Hillside? Could it be? Could it be? Could it be that that maybe it is colder and as icey here at 21st and Hillside as well as Salina, than FAIRBANKS ALASKA? Dunno but a win is a win is a win. It goes down in the books as 1-0. The key is this!! You-all ready for this? Are we growing as a team? Can we peak when the gettin is good? Stay tuned!!!!!!!
Shocker basketball will forever be my favorite team in all of sports.
Ill say this about Hatch... he brings some leadership, toughness and smarts on the floor defensivley.
It also is becoming more aparent that he has some limitations offensively.
I agree with that. His limitations frustrate me sometimes, but I think his leadership and his gutsy toughness more than makes up for his shortcomings.
He frustrates a lot of us, but his presence on this team is a good thing.
Agreed. He has to play at least 10 minutes a game for us. Let's just hope we can hide him on offense for ten minutes. I am recommending tan body paint and a hardwood motif uniform.

Right now, here is my stance on Hatch and the other 9 rotation players. By committee, with our quality and talented experienced depth, FSF IS WITH EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU, ALL THE WAY TO THE NCAA. If not, then whatever happens---as the Hoosier Coach said KINDA SORTA,---"THIS IS OUR TEAM--THIS IS OUR SHOCKS!!!!!!!!"

As much as he frustrates me, he seems to have the respect of the other players. That says something that they think so highly of him.
WSUSHOX1-- Maybe we can't handle the truth. Maybe this Shocker 2010-2011 novel has a great ending, or not. No matter what, there is something that is for sure. Not you, not FSF, not our favorite Doc of all time, not our SubGod22 whom is NOT worried, not our Rosewood that despises stale nachos, and not one of us here that post like clockwork, have the ability, the audacity, the ability, or the animosity, to turn that stinkin channel. Not NOW, and NOT ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was a quick post, after a TO that I have watched him make for 4 years.
I agree, it was a little much, looking back.
I just want him to realize there are others on the team who are better ball handlers and have been more consistent at the line.
Hence the "get rid of the d@m ball" quote.
To be truthful, I said the same thing to my wife. I don't expect that of a senior at any point in the game even though it didn't make a difference at that point. Shame on both of us. "Perfection is unattainable". Who said that?

He was fine dribbling it ...UNTIL he started with the crazy through the legs and attempted crossover.....run the clock and pass it out. He knows better and he will learn from it.... He was still very good tonight on the defensive end and player we have to have. He gives us leadership and recently has stated he was feeling a little sorry for himself about his offensive slump and that it was selfish. Thats some maturity that we will need in the days ahead
1/16/2010 on the "Screw at the Q" HCGM... " Ive never seen a foul parade like that...If you would of let me know it was going to be a foul parade I would of brought a different team" .... "dont talk to me about fouls....Ive got to go back and look at some tape... I have some thoughts but I need to look at the tape and then I will have something very strong to say"
