This is all football driven. Yes, the NCAA and BCS leagues are d-bags and morons, no denying that. But it would take the biggest of d-bags to run off over 70% of their basketball institutions and about 60% to 65% of their baseball institutions. Most people want college football to be more like college basketball, even though the people with the money want it vice versa.

Yes the NCAA is comprised of a bunch of morons but let's not panic here.

I hope you are right....

Whether he is right or wrong there is no reason to worry about it. Perkins sealed WSU fate a long time ago and WSU is not going to bring football back. We should just enjoy and support what we have and the rest will take care of itself.

good thing it's just a fan's "dream" scenario. it'd be hard going through life pissed at yourself for accepting such a crappy deal.

but it looks as if that scenario wont play out. remaining members of big 12 (ku, ksu, isu, mu and baylor) will be looking into remaining as a conference retaining their bcs status.
