I don't remember this team picking themselves back up after a total collapse within a game this season.

Uh... I come back after finishing up listening for today about 30 minutes ago and noticed the thread grew to 5 pages. I read the remaining pages.

What the hell? Are you kidding me?

:yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo:

I agree. I don't think I would have ever dreamed of this team coming through facing that kinda adversity. That is unbelievable.

I still question our decisions made with Guy in the 7th but credit the boys for coming through in the 9th.

Maybe this team has turned the corner here.

We may not win the Valley (thanks MSU), but this gives me hope come tournament time.

And which would you rather have? A Valley regular season title with no NCAA's or 2nd place and an NCAA's berth?

Rest up the rest of the week and let's sweep the pathetic Bears.

                      :posterwu:
                      Deuces Valley.
                      ... No really, deuces.

The good news is this was the last game at the Creighton Sucks Complex.

What a terrible place to play any sport.

Fever, the Shox had never come back all season from this type of deficit so the percentages certainly said the Shox should lose. It's a fluke that this happened, a good fluke, but a fluke nonetheless. Don't feel bad.

                            This smells OK.
First a Baseball fan then a Volleyball fan and then I guess I follow the basketball team.

I notice the term "sunshine pumpers" has been used to describe those who have any level of confidence or optimism in the team.

I propose the term "moonshine pumpers" for the rest of WSU's baseball fans.

Please don't rag on Chain Link Park. It is a historic venue. Sorta like the old Yankee Stadium or Ebbets Field or Candlestick Park or Sportsman Park or League Park, which built in 1891 for the Cleveland Spiders. Shortly thereafter, the Spiders became the Indians.
