I just raised the total number of regular posters to 10 . . . so you should be happy. Just think I am here so that kind of spoils your consistent re-writing of K-State sports history doesn't it.

      • Hm, maybe, if KSU keeps going up like this, you'll be used to winning and won't have to trash talk after every time you do beat a team that is, after all, "mediocre".

What's this invented college baseball stuff? WSU didn't even have a program until Gene came along and created one from nothing in 1978.

I guess since you guys really didn't have one until last year, it might seem like WSU invented it to you.
Just going by how WSU fans act . . . years of acting like the College baseball world needed to bend over and kiss WSU's a$$ for being a nice regional baseball power.
Gene is the second winningest college baseball coach of all-time and WSU is THE winningest baseball program in the country during the past 30 years.

So I guess that is what you are talking about.

            And your point?

Hey when you're the king, you're expected to be treated like one. I hope you liked the kissing.

Is this really what it's all about? A win over a slumping WSU team has somehow validated WSU's domination of your program and this state and this region over the year?

I got news for you, Mr. Insecure, you have quite a long ways to go before you ever even sniff the dirt off our cleats.

Did Eck Stadium make you orgasm?
Why would Eck Stadium make a K-State person "orgasm" apparently you jizz your pants about it. There's at least 4 or 5 facilities in the Big 12 that are every bit as superior if not more so than Eck (named after a criminal how fitting) Stadium.

Great, so the next time WSU beats K-State, I can say something like, "Well K-State is slumping or . . . I guess we started a slump tonight". Perfect.

Plus, who is comparing overall programs . . . you guy invented the game, and have a nice regional team, that can't beat K-State anymore.

Actually, it's kinda spoiling your whole win-over-WSU thing, which is important to you.

I now understood why you were banned even by your own moderation crew. You're too persistent and too mouthy and your arguments hold no weight. Your only tactic is to post-spasm and talk about football.

ShockBand, it was kind of fun at first and the back-and-forth was expected for a while. But it's quite apparent that this fungus is here for one reason. Maybe he just wants to be banned to add to his esteemed collection.

There's 2 pretty nice parks (Nebraska and Texas). I dunno how that magically jumped to "5" in your eyes. But then again, overblown is your middle name. When compared to Purple Bandie Family Stadium, you probably cream all over your pants when you drive past Manhattan High's diamonds.

Gene is the second winningest college baseball coach of all-time and WSU is THE winningest baseball program in the country during the past 30 years.

So I guess that is what you are talking about.
Great, when you wussed out on football you had to have something to throw your weight behind . . . nobody is saying WSU wasn't good, but times change.

4 years after Gene brought baseball to WSU we were playing in the National Championship game in Omaha. That was 1982. We still had football. In fact we still had football until the end of the 1986 season.

We were a national powerhouse in baseball long before we suspended football.

BTW the biggest change after we dropped football was that Kstate became good in football. Maybe if we hadn't dropped football, Kstate would still be the laughingstock of the country in football.

As bad as our football program was, we were still usually better than kstate in those days. The last time we played was in 1985 in Manhattan and WSU kicked your butts in football.

So maybe you should be thanking us for dropping our football program.

Wow, a school that thinks they invented baseball, in a town of over 350K people and they brag because they get a whole 7K for a game.

Tell me, what else there to do in Wichita. Wichita got a MLB franchise?? An NBA team?? What exactly?? I imagine the social calendar on Tuesday night in Wichita is just stock full of events, and the hundreds of night clubs will be banging until 4 or 5 am with limos and babes. Who has time for WSU baseball when there's Gucci Row and hundreds of skyboxes at the NBA game to fill up?? On the weekends . . . step back kids, Vegas has nothing on Wichita. So the fact that WSU can pound out 4 or 5 or 6 or 7K with the countless promotions and giveaways in a town of over 350K people hundreds of miles from the nearest major league franchise and competing Division 1 school only proves what a fanatical zealot the average Wushuck is.
Oh lord, it's the guy who gets banned from his own team's boards, and who is blacklisted by his AD.

We got a winner here folks!
Not banned anymore anywhere . . . but it figures that a low self esteem former AD who used to work at WSU (makes sense) and who helped himself to a $500K loan from KSU's cofers would ban me.
So I just want to get something out in the open, for those who don't know, to see.

This guy ("DaxJones" on SN, "SonOfDaxJones" everywhere else) was actually and literally sanctioned and singled out as an individual fan by one Tim Wieser- the freaking former AD of K-State and current Deputy Commissioner for the B12, for his fanhood indiscretions. Let the brevity of that sink in for a second. It's not a situation that most people have ever heard of before.

Pay no heed his direction. He's a sad little mouse who lives a bitter, petty online existence.

                            • K-State finally getting football going had nothing to do with WSU dropping football . . . the administrators at K-State didn't decide to go $4 or $5 million in debt because WSU dropped football.

Fever . . . you're just mad because you and the 7 other shockernet fans can't have this thread all to yourselves to revise K-State history. Admit it.
