One thing Shockers don't have to worry about this year: Band Wagon Fans. Unless it is band wagon to bag on your team like goes on here.

Funny thing about shockerfever, over the years he has faded in and out
of more "multiple personalities" than I can count, but two things about him
have always stood out, he's a little bandwagony but to be fair all shocker
baseball fans of his generation seem that way to me, the other is that ironicly I have always considered him a sunshine pumper.

Hard to find positives at this point even though there were some.I had to look it up and to see in'08 Fresno State was 30-27 going into the WAC tourney.I'd love for this team to find that kind of magic.I guess theres always hope :roll:

Some baseball irony.Springer crashes into TJ trying to make the right play.That being the first baseman calling for and catching the pop up in the infield.To end the game Springer makes the last out popping up to who else..the pitcher.

I mean WSU went toe to toe with the No. 16 program in the nation and battled them to a 3-3 tie until the wheels came off.

This is something build upon for their game against Bethany tomorrow and#206 San Jose St this weekend.

I don't think they are the 16th best program in the nation. Probably more like 100th. They are the 16th ranked team right now in the nation though.

Tell me, what else there to do in Wichita. Wichita got a MLB franchise?? An NBA team?? What exactly?? I imagine the social calendar on Tuesday night in Wichita is just stock full of events, and the hundreds of night clubs will be banging until 4 or 5 am with limos and babes. Who has time for WSU baseball when there's Gucci Row and hundreds of skyboxes at the NBA game to fill up?? On the weekends . . . step back kids, Vegas has nothing on Wichita. So the fact that WSU can pound out 4 or 5 or 6 or 7K with the countless promotions and giveaways in a town of over 350K people hundreds of miles from the nearest major league franchise and competing Division 1 school only proves what a fanatical zealot the average Wushuck is.
