You have no way to know that they don't. Playing poorly isn't always a matter of effort- in fact, making errors usually means you're trying too hard, if anything.

You're right that I have no way of knowing if they try or not. I apologize for that.

I'm one of the most diehard Shocker fans out there. I promise you. You're gonna have to excuse me and likely a few others for not getting too excited about this team right now given their trailing performance.

I really like this team. A bump has been hit; we'll be fine. We may not host a regional but I think we'll win one and have a shot at the CWS. So there...

WICHITA, Kan. - Today's baseball game between Wichita State and Washington State has been moved up to 4:30 p.m. due to the threat of inclement weather tonight.
Any unused tickets for today can be used for a later regular-season game. Reserved tickets can be redeemed for a general admission ticket.

Even with the move up it will looks like it could be hit or miss to complete one game, although they new turf gives them a better chance.

Once the front hits it will probably get pretty windy. Even a light rain could be an issue if the rain is coming down sideways.
