Many pats on the back to those fans brave enough to stick out all nine innings. Too bad such a great game -- drama wise (blow the lead in the ninth then win on a walk-off) -- was witnessed by so few because of shatty weather.

Congrats to the boys, too, on staying mentally tough enough to beat a good team under terrible circumstances -- weather-wise, riding a losing streak, squandering the lead, etc.

The bullpen blowing the lead with two outs in the 9th is as disappointing as my internet connection today. Very glad to hear Jones hit a walkoff homerun to win. Well I better post this before the internet goes out again :-x.

Oh & I agree 100% with what Wheatshocker said above.

Thawing out from the game.It was worth staying until the end for the walk off.Cooper deserved better but that is the way it goes sometimes.Awesome job by Coop.Maybe we can take this positive to Tulsa next week(I don't think we will play again this weekend).

Wash. St. should've just lost 3-0, but now they have to suffer the misery of a walk off homer.

We're gonna lose a lot of leads/games with our struggling bullpen this year. Thank God RJ prevented one of those today.

We likely won the only game that will be played for the series.

I don't know why they wouldn't play on Sunday. Hardly any snow and they have played in worse conditions.

If Washington State could stick around another 24 hours beyond original plans, they could play on Monday afternoon when its supposed to be nearly 60 degrees.

As you can see by the time stamp, that post was made at 10:34, when our great weather forecasters were still predicting 4-7 inches of snow.

I should have known better than to assume that it was gonna happen.

LOL Remember a month or two ago when they predicted Winter Armageddon and we got about 2 inches? That was classic.

Yep. Similar circumstances, although this one on a much smaller scale. What a joke.

There was your problem - listening to the weather forecasters. To be fair, it was another close call and a little different track Wichita could have had 4-8 inches. I'm glad they were wrong though - maybe we can get to Spring now and put this cold weather behind us.

                            Sunday's game cancelled.

I am a little bit surprised. I can remember lots of past games where 2 inches of snow the previous day did not prevent a game from being played.

Well that stinks, now we have to get Tabor and St. Marys in here to fill in the games. And these games don't count toward the RPI. It appears the ORU series is headed for cancellation too.

The weather forecast for Tulsa is 68 and sunny on Tuesday and 62 and a few showers on Wed. Why would they be cancelled? Edit: I just found out how much snow they had. All makes sense now...

I also say we talk DBU into coming a day early and make that a 4 game series starting May 19th instead of May 20th...
