I had literally no Idea that they were playing in Long Beach as I am not an Avid baseball fan until I randomly entered into this forum. I had packed a lot of Black and Gold regardless of the fact they were playing there. After the game I have to run back to the hotel to watch the Selection Show. Hey, theres a chance right?

I know off-topic, but did anyone notice who beat #1 LSU at their place tonight? I say keep winning. We need to beat high RPI teams in the future as the Valley won't be doing us any favors.

No actually it was a perfect traffic day. Just hopped on the 405 Freeway and got off at Long Beach and went to the game. It was only about a 30 minute drive. I yelled and tried to pull them through but It didn't work.

What an awesome performance. Could have not asked for anything better to open this one up. Kelley had a MASTERFUL performance and our bats were extremely solid against a pretty decent pitcher.

Very pumped about this team. :clap:


Gotta keep this thing going and get er done tomorrow.

Sure does. I admitted that we were duped a couple of weeks ago.

I'm riding the waves that the baseball team is producing. Sorry that I'm not gonna get excited for the way this team is performing right now. Sorry that I'm not gonna praise a team for leading the Missouri Valley in total errors.

I dunno why you zeroed in on me. I'm pretty sure everyone was duped. Some are accepting it. Others like the status quo.

Actually I wasn't zeroing in on you. I was just reading the threads that had posts since the last time I looked at them and came across this post from you. It just struck me, considering how negative your posts have been lately. I came across it totally by accident.

I'm a bit negative because this team has now lost 8 out of their last 12 Division I games. And they are losing games by getting absolutely manhandled and playing poorly in every facet of the game.

They are not playing well right now. But they did start the season 10-1. We knew this was going to be a tough stretch with many tough games on the road. I was actually just hoping that they could get through that 10 game stretch starting at LBS (at LBS, at ARIZONA, WASH.ST, at ORU) going .500. Instead they only went 2-6 (if the two WASH ST games had not been snowed out, they might have gone 3-7 or even 4-6 but we will never know- We do seem to play better at home).

I do wish they were playing better, but I am not willing to give up on them just because they have hit a tough spot in the season. I am very hopeful that they will turn things back around soon and go on another 10-1 stretch.

Time will tell.
