    The box score didn't show any HRs. If there were any, they would have been shown in this area.

    Code:
    E - Harris, E.(4). DP - Bears 1; Shockers 2. LOB - Bears 9; Shockers 8. 2B -
    Prevett, K.(2); Springer(5); O'Brien(2); Grimes(2); Hall, K.(3). HBP -
    Grimes. SH - O'Brien(1). SF - Springer 2(4); McKeever(1). SB - Baez(7);
    Harbutz(4); Jones(1); Hall, K.(9). CS - Harbutz(2); Hall, K.(1).

      No the wind out of the northeast was brutal. Springer and Obrien both hit balls to center that would have gone out on most days.

        Box scores can be found at www.goshockers.com. They are usually up for home games VERY soon after the game ends.

        Go to the baseball page and then select the "Stats" link on the right part of the screen. From there, under 2010 Season, pick "Team Game-By-Game Results" and all games are there.

        Here is a clicky for Box Scores.

          Even taking into consideration the level of opposition, maybe some of that rust is starting to come off.
          Wouldn't have counted as a no-hitter anyway since CAU had scored.

          Tasty tidbit: The win by Hoch on Wed. was the first win by a non-starter so far this season. This means the starters have been solid and the 'pen has held leads. Mateychick had severe control problems on Wed., but his stuff is good. He left the game with the lead, but had only pitched into the 3rd. Concentration is key for him.

            Apparently you missed my tongue in cheek, '85. Too bad they don't have an emoticon for that. I'm not sure what you're talking about, though -- the major league record books contain plenty of entries for no-hitters in which the team without hits scored, including some where they actually won. Why should it be any different in college?

            There's a difference between a "no hit, no run game" and a "no-hitter."

                My bad. The rule was changed to include ONLY 9 inning no-hitters, and for some reason I was thinking that only shut-outs were included. That is no the case.

                I stand corrected.

                  Thanks 79' and others. I looked in this area, but for some reason thought there might be a slot that said "HR: 0" or something.
