Frosh right-hander Tobin Mateychick is slated to pitch today. Enid High's Mateychick was recruited by several top D1 programs and was drafted in the 28th round by the Tigers. He was a good get for the Shox.

Let's hope the Shox offense provides a lot of run support again today to help take the pressure off the youngster.

It looks like the game-time temp will be in the low 50's with very little wind. Another great early season day to slip out of the office and catch some baseball.

Loving this year so far, BUT it certainly gives us a LOT of hope for the future as well!

Mateychick has been great too- 5 K's in 4 IP, no runs.

I know the competition hasn't been top-notch thus far, but every time you turn around, this team is giving you more and more reason to be excited.

As Shane said, with what he is seeing so far he probably wishes he had about 14 positions instead of only 9 to play with.
