Whoa. A whole paragraph's worth? Really? Niiiice. :good:
You got beaten to a pulp in every pro-BCS argument you made. It wasn't even close.
Man, where is that youtube video Cold had with the alligator and little puppy? I need to cue that baby..
Of course you're gonna ignore me now. Once you've been beaten to a pulp, you know your place.Deuces Valley.
... No really, deuces.

"I guess that I am a cranky old man who has little patience at 62. But, I do like the back and forth of opinion and view...minus all the juvenile chest thumping.
I do enjoy this board...I learn more about baseball outside the closed loop of ACC/SEC baseball.
The Shocker fans seem to be one of the more knowledgeble fan bases that I have run across...and offer a perspective that is different from what I see from my southeastern vantage point.
For instance...I had no idea that WSU had two freshmen pitchers with stats like those.

This year was one of the worst year's in Valley history for baseball.
Pick almost any other year, give the Valley 8 teams including 2 national seeds and the Valley probably gets at least one team to the supers and maybe more.
We NEVER get that opportunity so we will never know for sure.
We do know that the Valley did send 2 teams to Omaha in 1991 and we didn't need 8 bids to the tourney to get 2 teams all of the way to the CWS. :wsu_posters:

1991 was an awesome year. Wish we had more of those in the future.
How often do two ACC teams make the Final 4 of the CWS? (Consider, 8 6-team regionals was a harder format to get two Valley teams in as well)Deuces Valley.
... No really, deuces.

ACC teams reached the Semi finals or finals in 2008, 2007, 2006, 2002, 2000, 1999, 1997, 1996, 1994...
The ACC has been consistant in putting teams in the CWS..but has had difficulty winning the final or semi final games...The ACC team was runner up in 2007, 2006, 2000, 1999, 1994

Seriously, a team that doesn't even qualify for its own conference post-season tournament makes the NCAAs?
I think the Shocker locals have a legit gripe about the XII getting eight teams in the tourneyAt Ballard’s Sporting Goods in Aggieville, this season’s popular purple T-Shirt with the “Welcome to Huggieville” greeting had already been replaced with a newer line known as “Welcome to Traitorville.” “Welcome Back to Loserville” might be a more appropriate selection. - msnbc 4/7/07
