A #4? I know the Shox had a bad season, but still, a 4? That would be a slap in the face for a program that has gone to the NCAA tournament what, 19 of the last 20 years? I expect us to be a 3 seed wherever we go, as this team has shown flashes of being a solid baseball team. And I do think given the right matchups, we could win a game or 2 in regionals

Sorry, NCAA regional seeds aren't based on past proceedings. Otherwise we'd be a No.1 every year and a team like Kitten State would barely qualify as a 4.

I will bet you whatever dollar amount you want that we will be a 4 seed this year and it certainly won't be considered a slap either. You game?

Can someone refresh my memory about the 2001 season (the last season we dind't make the tourney)

First time since 1987 (I think) that we didn't win the Valley regular season title.

First time in quite a while we didn't have 40 Division I wins (we were one shy at 39.)

We were systematically eliminated in two games at the Valley tourney at the Eck, including a pretty good whooping we took at the hands of SMS at 11:00am on Thursday morning which I regrettably saw after finishing up senior high school finals earlier that day. Wasn't fun.
