Basketball and baseball or different though.
In baseball, double-elimination works better just because of the nature of the game. It's far more easier to have upsets in baseball than in basketball.
Also, I don't think the money-hungry Valley will want to bare the expenses of putting two more teams in the thing.
I would definitely favor it over the 6-team pod joke of a tourney that we had this year though.
