Nevermind, it says the best composite record in each pod, not in pod play. So we have to go 2-1 and then we are in the Championship game. I think I have it now? Too much to drink tonight???
Close. There are scenarios if we win tomorrow night that we still wouldn't make it.

If Illinois State beats Indiana State and then goes on to beat us, we'd both be 2-1, but they would then have head-to-head tiebreaker.

It is possible for all of our pod teams to be 1-2, buttt that would then go to the seeding..

So like I said, it is very crucial for Indiana State to beat Illinois State tomorrow. If that happens, then a win over Creighton or Illinois State would suffice. So that's why we still gotta throw Cooper tomorrow and hope we get the win then and assuming Indiana State takes care of business, we can cakewalk through Friday and start Lowell for Saturday.
    Deuces Valley.
    ... No really, deuces.

Let's beat Creighton just for the heck of it.

Before we play scum we will know who won between ISU Red and ISU Blue. That will tell who how to pitch tonight.

He called the win-total in the regular season right on the nose. I knew we could struggle this year, but I honestly didn't believe it would be as bad as he predicted. He was right. Even after an awesome win tonight, he was still right. Our regular season sucked. The good news is it's all meaningless now if we can build on this momentum this weekend.
If we would have played and won those 5 very winnable games that were lost to weather would you be saying that his win total was right on the nose? Remember we lost 3 games to teams that didn't even make the valley tourney. I would say that the regular season, though bad compared to WSU standards, was not as bad as KC predicted.

I do find it disturbing though that after such a huge win that any WSU fan that frequents here often enough didn't offer up some kinda celebratory remarks at all. He took the time to come in here in the 5th when it appeared to be over and told everyone I told you so, but then after the final out, he is nowhere to be found. I hope he has some reasons for this because it does seem a bit suspicious.
This is the main gripe I have about him. The only time he has come on here and said anything was after a loss. He has even changed his story. After his loosing bet was made and he realized that he was going to lose, it became a "I only count Div I wins".

              $10 and counting KC.

I brought up the point about the missed games for weather too. I hear you.

The second paragraph was a pretty good point.

                  Thanks

In case anyone is wondering, jdmee and I are NOT the same person. But if I knew him and needed one, I might hire him as my PR guy.

Anyway, Fever, I'm a little less impressed with KC's call than you are, considering that WSU played 51 games instead of 56 and that the three Valley misses that were NOT made up were against a team that was mediocre at best (SIU). Plus, he kept gloating his tail off when things weren't going well and got -- as you yourself have observed -- very quiet.

But enough about the weasel and me. Let's get back to the tournament. And by the way, shockfan, as to the schedule and possibilities, Fever has it exactly right. If the Shocks win one more game, they play for the championship.

KC does the same. As some one else on MSU Bear Nation. Just almost sure.
