You heard it here first, I'm calling what's in bold to happen. I lost track how many times the Creighton audio people (on the Shocker Vision video) said the WSU - Creighton game was "meaningless". Along with other cheap shots here & there.

Those guys are morons. It may be a meaningless game for sCUm, which is fine with me. Have them not give a crap about the game and we can clinch it then (assuming Indy State downs Illinois State) :good:

Great comeback effort. I would also have not given much for the Shocks' chances if I had known InSt was going to score seven. But this appears to be a new team, and Cooper can be the clincher if the Trees bounce back, as they now have to to keep their chances alive.

One question, though. Why on earth was Flynn pitching the 9th up eight runs? I'm as skeptical about the Shocker bullpen as the next guy, but that was a lead I was not worried about -- surely the coaches weren't either? -- and they're going to need Flynn to be available again -- hopefully in the championship game. Why burn an extra inning's worth of his pitches instead of using one of the guys from deep in the pen? I trust Kemnitz, but that makes no sense to me.
