I can appreciate the optimism, but really folks, an overhaul of our entire pitching, 2 returning starters, a lot of younglings, I predict a 27 win regular season.

Ok, unless I miscalculated, you predicted 26 wins and missed the UNI and Evansville games in there.
Are you ever really correct?
Here's the bottom line. Most of us that KNOW and love WSU were confident in the starting pitching....turned out it was better than even the most optimistic fan would have hoped. Injuries and a lack of development in the bullpen were worse than expected. Losing Kevin Hall hurt a lot. Having 1 player batting over .300 in the lineup on the last weekend of the year was, is and will always be mind boggling and inconceivable. The coaching staff did not have their best season.
As a whole, the season has been frustrating, but it isn't over yet.....and if you think it is then stay away from the Eck this week.
