  • Shocks Try to Get Well in Cedar Falls/Waterloo

Will this continue to be the Shocks Waterloo or will things finally start to fall in the Shocks favor.

Let's hope the latter is the case.

    :goshocks:

Might be a choppy radio production as they have already lost the feed 3 times in the radio show.

Starting time moved back to 6:40 with some rain moving in. 70% chance of rain on Saturday and 60% on Sunday and a park that does not drain well.

Kelley has 3 starts worth of run support already.

Shocks with a big assistance from UNI's pitcher add a run in the second.

However, the left another runner on 3rd with less than 2 outs as Grimes struck out. Jones followed that with another K to end the inning.

Shocks now around 50% for the year in plating runners from 3rd base with less than 2 outs. Pretty bad.

On the positive side a very good Sac Bunt by Cody Lassley.

Somebody needs to tell the Shockers not use all their runs for the season in this game. :D

Not at the game did not see the play. But I've seen enough of 9 to think he cost us another run.

Walk, Double and 1-out Single scores 2 for UNI in the 2nd.

Tim pitching behind in the account to the 3 batters that did the damage.

                      4-2 after 2.

Tim has not been sharp and has often worked behind. This is not a good sign.

McKeever with two solid line drive doubles. The second one a real frozen rope that drove in Will Baez from 1st (although Gene probably should not have sent him -- but it worked out.)
