Were you expecting a trip to Omaha this year?

I love that by TE, "Just get the job done", no excuses, just not playing the game the way it is supposed to be played. Not on the coaches, which I completely agree with, this one is on the players.

Did Mike and Terry really say 11 runners stranded in scoring postion?

                They did, along with 7 SB's.. = 4 runs?

That's really hard to do and we somehow did it.

The really funny thing is, if we didn't give 3 runs right back to Illinois State, we actually could have won the game with those bad of numbers.

Tim Kelley has filed suit for lack of support.

He is now 2-2 with a 2.05 ERA.

Well hopefully we can bounce back and take the next two, lord knows we need them. I keep telling myself this is a rebuilding year and that good things are in the horizon, but man is it hard to see this, something none of us are used too, but I don't think this season is the end of the program, it is going to be a long, frustrating year, but I will be along for the ride. Tomorrow is a new day.

You're right. What else can you do.

It won't be easy. Hopefully, Charlie Lowell is not too rusty after two weeks off. ILS going with pre-season All-Conference pitcher Ryan Copeland.

As Elliot said "They are not playing this game as it should be played" - and that has to be concerning and if doesn't get straightened out then it will not bode well for the future.

Im along for the ride as well as long as Letourneau isn't in the starting lineup anytime soon.

Can someone explain how we don't get anything out of all these baserunners, I wasn't there and didn't listen, but even without hits you should score some of those runs, were they all with two out? should we have manufactured something?

It was 13 wasn't it? Par for the course this season however. My 27 game win season is looking more probable every day. That stinks and so does this team. But hey, I still love em'
