So now we have WB on who is 0/2 in this game, has a BB and Sac Fly
WB shows bunt, ball was way outside.
Asking too much for a wild pitch?
Bunts for a hit ... foul on the 3rd base line :(
1-1 count, APB's D is dancing around pretending pick plays
Bunt straight back off the screen. What?
1-2 count, and he pops up foul right in our dugout. So wasted AB :(
And pace gets a single up the middle. Man, he really battled through that.
That makes it 8 to 6, 2 outs in the 8th.
This will be the most humiliating loss in the Stephenson era.
Eh, not really. We lost to D-2 Grand Canyon State and D-2 Oklahoma City in our 1991 CWS runner-up year. We were expected to be good those years.
Here, we're young as hell and picked 3rd in our conference and losing to a D-1 team.
You have issues dude..
Both of those teams were excellent teams at their level. Ever heard of Lewis and Clark? Pine Bluff is horrible at any level.
Oklahoma City? You're kidding right? In a year where we we're ranked in the Top 5 most of the year? And you justify a loss then, but can't now with a team full of no experience and picked to finish 3rd in the Valley? Did I mention 8-6 on the year? Are you kidding me?
Shut up please.
Deuces Valley.
... No really, deuces.

Grimes is 2 for 2, on 4 out of 4 times, 1 out
Takes the first one, and then swings and a miss as he was way out in front of a 70mph pitch which is all this guy has.
Takes an easy one up and in, 1-2
and tyler drives it deep but the runner was half way so 2 outs and RJ up
I know this will never change here ... but I frickin' hate it when Gene has his guys try to bunt for a hit initially in clear sacrifice situations.
Maybe if we were good at small ball, I could see it. But we are not, not, not.
Why don't we give our guys two chances to get a straight sac down instead of putting the pressure on the second attempt.
“The rebellion on the populist right against the results of the 2020 election was partly a cynical, knowing effort by political operators and their hype men in the media to steal an election or at least get rich trying. But it was also the tragic consequence of the informational malnourishment so badly afflicting the nation. ... Americans gorge themselves daily on empty informational calories, indulging their sugar fixes of self-affirming half-truths and even outright lies.'”
