Is it just me or is Kyle Sisney turned in an MVP series so far?

So what do we do with Kyle? Sounds like second base is taken.

Did he kill it at the 3 O clock game? Because Baez has been way better at the plate as well as in the field at 2nd base from what I have seen. I did miss the 4th game, and now games 6 and 7 today. From what I have seen I'd give MVP for the series to Baez. Not to take anything away from Sisney But Baez has been amazing.

After looking at the box score for game 6 I have to say that Caster might have locked up the last OF position with his 4/4 day at the plate.

Pretty good for a switch hitting lead off hitter. We don't have a lot of left handed hitters.

Kyle made his first error in 7 games and finished hitting .478 and his team won the series. MVP?

I gotta say I would pick Baez as the most outstanding player for sure or maybe Tim Kelley. The black pulled it out so if you think MVP should go to the best player on that particular team then I might have to go with Caster even though his average wasn't as high for the series. He really stepped up for his team when they had to have it. Not that Sisney didn't but caster was driving runs in like crazy down the stretch, stealing bases, and just doing it all. Sisney didn't have any RBI and no doubt that's because he was in the lead off spot. Sisney was 1/3 stealing bases out of the lead off spot. I was very impressed with Sisney don't get me wrong But Baez has just blown my socks off. I mean he had a HR he was 6/8 stealing from the 3 hole. Some of the plays he made were just awesome. Again I really don't want to downplay what Sisney did at all. I love the fact that these two guys are really playing hard and fighting for that position. Whoever wins it will really have earned it. This is what the falls all about and you have to love it. Maybe Sisney might be an option at ss as Grimes didn't show much of a bat over the series. Grimes really is impressive at ss though. He has a cannon of an arm and his quickness is really something. Whatever happens I feel very good about our infield and I think most were most concerned with that coming into the series as there were more question marks there than anywhere else.

Now I know who picked the regional all tournament team at Oklahoma State in June, t7017s. Just a little friendly ribbing.

My question is now at third O'Brien, Gilmore Sossamon, Muncrief, Williams or maybe Rosecran? So nice to have so many options. Coming out of the series what does the depth chart look like?

I'm clueless at third at this point and I would suspect the coaches may be as well. O'Brien has the plate potential. Gilmore may be the best option for fielding and did do well at the plate down the stretch of the fall series. Not sure whats up with Muncrief but he looked really good at third last year when he had chances to play. I think the coaches may be looking at him in more of a pitchers role but who knows. He may have some injury issues right now as I didn't see him play at all in the fall series so who knows how severe that may or may not be. Third is really the only spot left to figure out at this point.
