I think against LHP we need to put McKeever at 1B and have KWJ DH (leaving Hall in LF). Against RHP I am not sure, the percentage play would be to replace Hall with KWJ in LF and leave Hill at 1B and DH Clint.
One thing we need to consider is McKeever as a reliever (I just like that because it rhymes). If Clint starts at 1B and moves to pitcher we lose the DH right? But if he starts at DH he can return to DH? I am not sure I have that right or not? Please help me out.

Actually Hill has 3 errors and McKeever has 2.
Hill is probably marginally better at first, maybe enough to make a 3 or 4 run difference at first over a 70 game season.

shockfan89: My preference would be to keep McKeever as DH, Hill at first and either Hall or Williams in left with the other available to PH or PR. This is in reply to your comment "If you are just talking 1B and Hill or McKeever". I was just providing information about the 1B players.
7hottamales: Can you provide a link on your comment "Actually Hill has 3 errors and McKeever has 2"? The MVC stats do not include the MVC and NCAA tourneys so Hill might have two errors not reflected in http://www.mvc.org/baseball/2008stats/wsu.htm. With so many more attempts (383 vs. 130 before the post season), Hill would need about 6 errors (total) to have the same fielding percentage as McKeever. Some posts are not visible to me. :peaceful:
Don't worry too much about it. Just do all you can do and let the rough end drag.

I'm going to leave it all up to Gene because there is 0% chance he will listen to any of us anyway and that is the way is should be because that is why he gets paid the big bucks and we don't. The last time he messed with the lineup we lost 3 in a row.
I think at this time it is all about team chemistry and he doesn't want to break that so he won't change things as long as they aren't broken. Hall hasn't got turned around in the outfield and cost us a game as far as I can remember.
Everyone has good points. So we all leave it up to the guy with +1600 wins. I don't think there is a better place to to place it.

I agree. I know Gene has gone over everything we brought up and probably more...
Spangler - I know, I could go either way with it. I was just trying to find a way to get both Hall and KWJ in the lineup since I would hate to see Hall benched when he has done so well with the opportunity he received. Would also hate to see KWJ lose his spot due to illness. Like someone else said, good dilema to have.
