Tulane gets a 1 out double but fails to get him home. You gotta score when you can especially against florida state

Tulane gets themselves in deep doo-doo in the top of the third, walking the #1 and #2 hitters to bring up probably National Player of the Year Buster Posey and his .468 average. Unbelievably, Posey took strike three then the cleanup hitter flied out to left and the next dude popped up a 3-0 pitch. Tulane escapes without any runs scoring.

0-0 into the bottom of the third.

whew, FSU had runners at 1st and 2nd and no outs, with FSU beef of the lineup, and Tulane gets out of it harmless. still 0-0 going to the bottom of the 3rd

So far Tulane is going down easy. FSU threatens every inning but so far Tulane has wiggled out of trouble.

I dont know how much Tulanes pitcher Shooter Hunt has left, through 3 innings he already at 51 pitches and this is after throwing 110+ pitches on 2 days rest.

FSU has one run in at the moment with 2 down. HBP (the batter apparently leaned into it), then a hit up the middle giving FSU 2nd and 3rd with great baserunning. Gave up a run on a groundout to 1st base. Then a K.

Still a runner at 3rd with an 0-2 count on the hitter.

Now, a wild pitch gives FSU a 2-0 lead, hitter with a 1-2 count.

Base hit, the two runs end up being earned.
