To Whom It May Concern:

My name is Rob Martin and I find it very unfortunate that someone felt the need to spread incorrect information regarding the Andy Oliver situation. ICON SPORTS HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH HIS BEING DECLARED INELIGIBLE. We are not the agency in question. We were as concerned and saddened as anyone else with any sensitivity when we heard the news Andy had been suspended. People stating otherwise are making defamatory and patently false accusations.

I have NEVER SPOKEN to Andy Oliver. We ARE NOT the agency that purportedly sent him a bill and we would never have contacted the NCAA regarding his getting a different advisory firm as we were not advising him. Anyone who says otherwise is completely misinformed.

Furthermore, we are fans of the Oklahoma State program and currently represent alumni in professional baseball. I have had a long standing respect for the program and for head coach Frank Anderson. We would have never done something this despicable and were truly saddened by the fact that the young man got caught up in this mess. We were as concerned and saddened as anyone else with any sensitivity would have been when we heard the news Andy had been suspended.

For those who may be inclined to not believe me, please take a step back and a deep breath. I grew up in Oklahoma an OSU fan. My wife went to OSU. We would never have done anything like this with such negative implications to a young student athlete and to a program we respect. Hopefully people will take pause and realize that what I am saying here is true and that Icon Sports is not the agency at fault.

Finally, we understand this is a reputation business and we would never jeopardize our reputation over something this appalling. We have built an impeccable reputation as one of the top advisory firms and have done so by making integrity the cornerstone of everything we do. We are simply not capable of the things we’re being accused of on the OrangePower.com website.

As this is of grave importance to me and to our firm and since our phone number is already on the site, I would be happy to speak to anyone that would like to call me and get this information straight from me.
