I also cannot stand their middle-school girlie screams. Everytime their pitcher throws a strike it's as if Hanna Montana or Justin Timberlake showed up in their section.
It was, however, interesting to note their behavior when the MVC Tourney team was announced. Not a single clap for any WSU player. Classless.Comment

Damn can we cut the guys a break. They had their season ruined by us and you all want them to be quiet while cheering as "fans"??? You expect them to shower us with love after we tore their hearts out and stole their chance at an automatic bid??? :blink: :blink: Some of you are starting to sound like big conference snobs. I was impressed with their fans and their ability to get back up time after time as we retook the lead and kept beating them back with our sticks. Any MSU fans reading this... Please ignore the idiots who can only talk trash about our opponents. I thought you represented well and showed great "fanhood". I was at the game like I am all games. I'm not bitching about us winning or saying it was horrible of us. They were not out of line at our ballpark for being good fans cheering on their team. Our fans cheered just the same when they threw a ball etc. I heard them and applaud them for being good fans. I don't understand why so many of you are just looking to pile on them for being good fans after the fact and the games over. The ballpark is a place where fans go to support their team and get a little rowdy. Although I got to say I didn't find them rowdy at all. I don't consider cheering on your team rowdy. I'll tell you what fever I'll shut my "piehole" right after you do... Deal? We all have a right to our opinions, let it go already the game is over and we won. Can't you just be happy with that? What purpose does it serve to pile on fans for being good fans after its all said and done? None of them did anything to you other than annoy you which is practically impossible not to do. Your a bit immature to understand. Hell at least they were good supportive fans unlike yourself most the time. God forbid a group of fans show a little support for their team. Last I checked the ballpark is for hooting and hollering. Thats part of the draw to going to the park and supporting your team. What the hell... I never climed to be all seeing or all hearing. i didnt see any a holes among them but that doesnt mean there werent some. There may have been one or two and I'm not arguing that. Im getting at one thing... Whats the point of piling on them after the fact. Does it make people feel better to trash a whole alotment of fans based on one or two that may have been out of line? The way I see it it only paints wsu fans with a broad brush much the way many of you are painting msu fans with such a broad brush. It's classless in my opinion and thats only my opinion. Everyone is welcome to their own and I respect all of yours even though I don't agree per se. No need to get pissed at me for voicing it... last I checked shockernet allows equal opportunity for all of us to do so. I'm not asking that anyone agree with me I'm just sharing my perspective. I can take, and have taken, the hoots and hollers of Arkansas fans, OSU fans, LSU fans, KU and K-State fans, OU fans, Nebraska fans but there is not a more annoying collection of "cheering" as that displayed by Bears fans.
Those 8th grade girlie screams slay me every time. Baseball, volleyball, basketball, you name it - girlie screams. It's almost as if they have it recorded like a sitcom laugh track and play it with an amp and speakers during every sporting event. I can see it now, the MSU athletic department has a girlie-scream library and someone checks out the tape or CD as they head out of town for the game.Comment
