While looking for reactions of MSU fans to the snub from the NCAA, I found this interesting letter: http://www.news-leader.com/apps/pbcs...NS02/805260305
It is unfair if this is not taken care of in a timely manner to assure the success of the team. It saddens and frustrates the swimmers that they are such a low priority with the MSU athletic program. They are a nationally ranked mid-major program and I question how many of MSU's programs can say the same.
I guess I should add that the MSU women's swimming team seems to receive more NCAA respect than does their baseball team. I think Oregon State and MSU deserved invites ahead of OU.Some posts are not visible to me. :peaceful:
Don't worry too much about it. Just do all you can do and let the rough end drag.

Last year for the regional I was able to score some awesome blue box seats from a couple of New Orleans Univ. staff/really close friends/press members who were leaving for home after we ousted them. They gave me the reminder of their session tickets for 3 seats. It was great. Anyways... while I used these seats for our last few regional games I noticed a couple of WSU fans also seated in the blue boxes that stuck out to me as rather embarrassing representatives of our fanbase :
-Skinny, middle-aged bald dude with potentially more piercings than teeth, who banged on the empty seat in front of him, and rung his cowbell, at a very annoying rate.
-Rather large, older guy with glasses and long, dark hair who heavily berated the opposing team and officiating at every chance. I'm not talking spirited, sarcastic stuff, I mean really classless stuff.
These two seemed to know each other, for whatever that's worth.
I still see long hair at the games, but I haven't seen cowbell for a while.

You're the only one having a cow about this. Maybe you should get some ear surgery and hear like the rest of us. Not knowing what all of us heard makes you ignorant. So, please don't offer your opinion on this issue because it's meaningless and irrelevant.Deuces Valley.

I was sitting on the hill in center field and the MSU fans screaming was getting on my nerves both games. In fact a friend of mine called us from his box seats (blue seats) to tell me how annoying they were. He wanted a few of us who had been there the better part of the day to come over after the game and rub the win in to pay them back for being such an annoyance. We didn't, but any day the Shox can send the MSU fans home crying is a good day!

And Honolulu the best, partly due to high spending per pupil. I guess results don't matter anymore. It's all about the perceived intentions.
Clearly, that list puts a high value on high taxes. (Spending $266 per person for park maintenance in Seattle is a good thing?)
Sorry for the tangential observation. And now back to our regularly scheduled programming . . .
