The only thing I can see holding us or other D1 schools back is that as a third year sophomore he would have to have completed 60% of his class work. If he can get that I don't see a reason not to give him a chance.
Guys like this become instanst fan favorites if they produce. Everybody loves the guy that out hussles, out plays, and out works the five tool guys who are supposed to make it to the bigs.
