If the game was 4.5 innings played, and they don't restart it, then it would go down as an official game.

As it is, it's not the 4th, and when it does start again, they'll play it out.

True, but couldn't one assume if they have a window to get a few more innings in then they would go for it so the game would at least be official if another delay came along. Shox need to think it is the top of the eighth and they only have two more at bats. If I'm OSU I bring in set up/closer guy and play for six innings as it sounds like we will be lucky to get that in tonight.

It helped that the game started at 6:30 instead of 7.

Everything has weakened and fallen apart.

I have no doubt in my mind this game starts back up again and will be finished. Probably within 30-45 min.
