    How about this:

    1. Go undefeated the rest of the regular season.

    2. Find a time machine and go back and replay their schedule prior to Valley play, eliminating the 3 of 4 losses to Centenary, the loss to Eastern Illinois, and the loss to Wisconsin-Who? (all of which is sort of reminiscent of Steve Martin's great advice on how to become a millionaire: "first, get a million dollars").

That might get them a shot at an at-large spot in case they happen not to win the Valley tournament, but I'm afraid I don't like their chances to be a national seed.
You guys may want to do a little looking before you go overboard on their fans. I don't see them saying much that isn't realistic.

Since when does SB call anyone legit that is 0-2 against top 100 teams? WSU and MSU are also the only remaining teams on their schedule in the top 100 in RPI
What does being 0-2 versus top 100 mean? All it says is they have not had many opportunities to really prove themselves one way or the other. It's not like I said they were a legit to get to the CWS.

Just pointed out that there are is enough common opponents to compare to them to - and they are doing just as well as WSU in those games. After this weekend there will be 2 more common opponents to add to the list to judge the magnitude of their threat.

I'd feel much better if WSU swept Indiana St and SIU would sweep UNI this weekend. This race feels like Shafer game. They look like they are cruising with no worries and it's just a matter of time before they put them away - then poof one bad inning (or weekend) the team lose it's focus.

UNI's conference schedule is heavily weighted toward the back end. The first half has been the easy part. The series win against CU is impressive, and I'm glad they are excited. But they have a tough row to hoe from here out. I like our chances at another championship.
