Hopefully they utilize a font size larger than 4 this year as well.

As bad as the old scoreboard was, it was plenty big to provide all kinds of useful data if used correctly.

So I am plenty critical at times but I must say I enjoyed the new video board. They still need to get the font bigger on the stats and learn to get the volume at the right level but overall it worked well. I especially love the video clips and music just before the National Anthem. It is great to see the opposing team stop and watch the video intently. Also, whomever picked the music (The Offspring "Coming for You") did an amazing job. Upbeat, in your face, smash mouth, gets the blood pumping. Now we just need to start kicking people's asses again!!!

Seriously. Just increase font size. It isn't hard. Could've kept the old one for another 5 years by bumping up the size of the numbers.

But it is shiny and cool. Not gonna complain about facility upgrades.

I KNOW RIGHT! The entire board looks capable of video and should be configurable. Reduce the ads a little on the right and increase the font of the stats and player info. Also add the pitching line at the bottom...
