Chase Williams gives up his 7th walk to lead off the 4th but gets his 2nd line drive DP (both rockets). Seems like when Chase does throw it in the strike zone it gets hard. He throws hard but his fastball seems to be very straight.

Shocks have struck out 12 times in 5 innings. Yes, 12 times in 5 innings.

When you add up a team that strikes out a lot, a strikeout pitcher, and a giant strike zone and some favorable calls, you get 12 Ks in 5 innings.

          15 K's for Hall.

About a million walks for Shocker pitchers. How is Brent going to candy-coat this one?

Matt Hall player of the game? When did they start naming opponents as player of the game?

Had a pretty reliable source tell me that many of the gun readings on our "power arms" reported when they signed are exaggerated at best if not fictional.

That all said, I will wait until the end of next year before I start screaming for change. Oh and MSU is really good-like CWS good

Shocks were anything but competitive today. The Shocker hitters went down 17 times on strikes and Shocker pitchers walked 13 and hit 1 batter.

                Now that is unwatchable baseball.

I guess the hope is that WSU can pull a SWMO by going from being a subpar 0.500 team to Top 20 team the next year.

Shockers trailing 2-0 after 4. Wasting opportunities.

A 2-run bomb by Daniel Kihle ties the game at 2-2 in the top of the 7th.

Shocks fall in 10 innings 3-2. They had their chances to win in regulation. But as has been the M.O. of this team those chances fell by the wayside.

The pitchers don't get the blame today. Holding a team to 2 runs (only giving up 2 walks) over 9 innings is a very competitive outing and should win you most games.

Missouri State pitchers did their best Shocker pitching impression giving up 10 free passes (9 walks & 1 hit batter). However, the Shocks offense could only muster 6 hits and 4 of those (2 each) were by Daniel Kihle and Ryan Tinkham as they stranded 12 runners.

3 wins this weekend would be a fluke and I will go back to being super disappointed and upset with this team.
No option for 0 wins? I assume that means disappointment?
