Any way I can buy negative season tickets to help get the point across? Or do I just provide my phone number on my SASO renewal? Disappointed there wasn't a check-box for "Willing to contribute to hire Kevin Hooper as Baseball Coach."

I'm just curious.... If from what I have seen, everyone agrees this is a coaching problem. So.... why are the players being punished? They are college athletes trying to get a degree and believe it or not I'm sure they have lives outside of baseball. So instead of getting on here and bashing everyone and pointing fingers, let's go to games and cheer them on. If they lose, then so be it. Move on with your lives. Those boys are working hard I promise and they are all discouraged because no one comes to games but they seem to have a lot of people just reading headlines. I have been to almost every game this year and they aren't boring! They are good games to watch. Pointing fingers and blaming everyone is not bringing in any positive vibes or wins. Okay, sorry...rant over. GO SHOX!!!

They are not good games to watch. Unless you are a fan of the opposition. The hitting is bad. The fielding is terrible. The pitching is woeful. The decision-making is baffling.

Perhaps we need a few more people with more baseball going on in their lives. If you want to be great, you pretty much have to eat, drink, and sleep the stuff.

This isn't the Y rec league. This is major Division I baseball.

If the stands were full every night, do you think a change would be made? And as cdizzle states, watching losing (and very bad losing) baseball sucks. That's just the facts of life with any sport. They are fundamentally poor team and that's the worst type of losing of them all.

Packing the stands will not get rid of butler. And no it is not good baseball. We suck at every aspect of the game. When you have former players and equipment managers bashing the program on its own facebook page you know something is wrong. Fans are used to a certian caliber of players, and butler is not bringing them in or not coaching them to that level. Its embarrassing.

I bought two season tickets last season due to the sale and also because of perceived advancement of the recruits, wanted to support the club and Butler.

Their schedule and my work schedule didn't work well, and only got out to a handful of games and the ones I went to... the baseball was just bad. I'm not going to go sit and watch infielders in college miss routine grounders.

The program right now is a dumpster fire, record and attendance proves it.

I'm a sunshine pumper as some people like to call it, and even I can't find something positive to say about the state of the program right now.

My dad doesn't pay attention to the baseball team much, but he knew they were doing poorly because I'd occasionally mention it. He said he finally looked at their record and was totally taken aback by 7-16. Like he couldn't believe how horrible it had gotten.

I got tired of watching bad, embarrassing and boring baseball.. Haven't been to a baseball game in 3 years and not going back until they are a competitive team.

I'm not sure why ya'll feel the need to bash on a bunch of 19 and 20 years old. These guys eat, sleep and breathe baseball. They lift, go to class, and the go to the field to practice till 5 o'clock or have a game to play. These guys work hard and I'm sure most of you don't know what goes on behind the scenes so maybe you should find out your facts before you talk.

What facts that have been stated on here that aren't true? Not going to support a team or program that is 9 games under 500 23 games into the season with my money.

Then don't support them but you don't have to bash on them either. What is your reason you tearing them down more?

I'm not sure why a guy with two posts is coming on here telling us that we should spend our money watching terrible baseball. What's the deal, WSUBASEBALL2, or should I say Todd. I will support the players in whatever they do by watching at home (from my couch) or saying hi and good work when I see them around the community, but I will not support the coach or program by using my wallet.
