it seems we have changed our approach at the plate as a team.Drawing more walks of late.We struck out a lot yesterday but we still walked a lot.Really driving up the pitch count on the starters.Looking back to the start of the UCSB series we have really only player one bad game.Lets get a W tomorrow and then on to Stillwater for a real test.

Drawing more walks could also be because the opponent's pitching has been so bad.

That's 5 in a row.If we make it 6 in Stillwater then we are talking about this team starting to gel.Our non con schedule is no joke folks.Some serious RPI teams coming up on the road.

Hopefully, this will build some confidence with this team which is critical. OTOH, outside of Aaron Hauge, SIU's #1 starter, the Salukis staff have a 6.91 ERA.

With that in mind perhaps the 3-2 win Friday was the most impressive win of the weekend.

We will find out soon enough with a road game at Oklahoma State and a 3-game series at TCU this week.
