I also did a quick Google search on Pat Meares vs. Darren Dreifort. This came in 2000.
Baseball: Right-hander's string of quality outings is ruined as Pirates bomb him and the bullpen, 12-1.
Pat Meares' two-out, solo home run got the Pirates started in the second. The No. 8 batter hit Dreifort's first-pitch fastball into the seats in the left-field corner for his 11th homer

Dayne hit 0.197 in 137 AB's last summer mostly in A ball with the Quad Cities River Bandits in the Midwest League. No stats for this year so could be he is no longer pursing a pro baseball career.
