Help a noob out: Is how often a pitcher plays only a practical matter or is there some rule that says you can't start/play a pitcher every game? I realize they need to rest up, but I was wondering if there was a tournament rule or something that forces you to rotate pitchers. Also, generally speaking, how many days does it take a pitcher to get rested and ready to go again if he went as hard as he could for a previous game?
