WSU lefty Kris Gardner will start his first MVC game since last season on Saturday. He faced the Redbirds and gave up three earned runs and six hits in five innings last season … WSU is 3-0 in games when coach Todd Butler is ejected.

Yes, but key may be for HCTB to get himself ejected again. Our two most consistent indicators of the season have been A.J. Ladwig pitches we don't score and HCTB gets ejected we win. A.J. is not pitching to day so we may score a little bit.

Yes, we can sweep them but I would put our chances at 50-50.
