Yeah just moved up here. It's different but hopefully baseball can't make it feel more like home.

Well, it cant replace the trees. Or the water. But the weather will not be to your liking come Feb/Mar, but by April you will be in awe.

You can sit next to JJ Clamdip who owns a LSU T shirt and has been know to wear it on occasion. Always remember when LSU and WSU played in the College WS. They would introduce the teams and WSU looked like a bunch of 18 year olds and LSU most of them looked like they were as big as a house and full beards and looked to be middle 20's. An aunt that lives in Lake Charles would say "Yeah we grow em big down here".

Yea, kinda like Ronnie Curtis at John Marshall and Roman Blandford at North High, men, and I mean men, among boys.

Haha you best believe I will be rocking my LSU gear. I was little when we played y'all in the CWS but I watched those games so many times I feel like I was there. Y'all helped start a monster.

Oh this is my first winter and I'll give it a "ehh not bad" SO FAR.

No it was Ronnie Curtis. When we were 7th graders (and in those days EVERYONE showered after gym class) Ronnie Curtis had more body hair than most of our primate cousins. When we got around to graduating from High School Ronnie was still classified as a sophomore. When Ronnie passed away a few years ago I asked JJ if he had heard from what and his response was "Probably old age" meaning he was probably a lot older than all of us even as 7th graders.

Come on, Charlie -- Kansas tornadoes are overrated. Now, Oklahoma tornadoes are a different story. They get nasty. You're just lucky because tornadoes don't seem to like mountains, even small ones like the Ozarks, all that much.

The LSU fans were awesome and even took our group into their RV during a rain storm. Very cool and I have always pulled for the Tigers when WSU or the Valley did not have a stake in the game. Welcome!

The weekend y'all play Tulane. LSU plays Tennessee which should be a great series. If y'all haven't been to the Box I highly encourage it. It's an experience and wear Shockers gear. Y'all will welcomed with open arms.

I can attest to the welcome at Alex Box. Everyone seemed to recognize the "W" and welcome me. Great baseball people like Wichita.

Also if you go to the Tulane game and see a guy in LSU gear trolling Tulane fans, it's my dad. Tulane packages the LSU game into either season tickets or a package so he picks five good games and enjoys himself.

Note to anyone thinking of coming down for the Tulane Series:

The New Orleans Jazz Fest is that weekend, and hotels around town, especially in the French quarter, are filling fast. If you are considering going, I'd grab a refundable room and cancel if need be.
