I guess I am getting old but it does not seem as fun anymore in the cold weather as it was 20 years ago.

Well, if you're like me, you are getting old and NO it isn't as fun. It gets easy for me to make an excuse to stay home. With all the early season games last year and not great weather and the coaching staff swirling the drain, I missed far more games than I saw.

I'm on my phone and don't have my work calendar with me at the moment, but someone else could utilize the strategy we all use for the basketball schedule and start to piece it together. I have seen dates on other teams' schedules and wrote them down in my calendar. Paul's piece in the Eagle mentioned in this thread list several teams we will play. Just a suggestion...

So Long Beach State is coming to Wichita to play baseball on Febr. 28? That is interesting. It seems like they have always come in mid to late March in the past. And I don't see Missouri on the schedule. Did the game with Missouri at Kauffman stadium fall through?

Yet the deadline to renew season tickets was Dec. 1. I don't think it is unreasonable to ask to see the schedule before having to commit to buying a season ticket. Are they still looking to fill a game date this late? This really doesn't make any sense and is very annoying.

Thanks for all your hard work to put the schedule together for us. It is just too bad the athletic dept. can't figure out how to release a schedule in a reasonable amount of time before the season actually starts.

does it surprise you? They can't actually send out season tickets when you purchase and pay for them. They can't actually deliver on DVD that was promised to ship in the first week of December. I think there is a seinfeld episode here...

Missouri and WSU have not released their schedules yet officially - so they may be waiting to finalize the deal.

Missouri's is now tentatively out so WSU's should be coming out soon.

The baseball schedule was finally released on Thursday. It is on the Eagle's web-site http://www.kansas.com but for some reason I can't copy it here. Check it out - the schedule isn't bad.
