Officers investigating learned that some of the state baseball tournament teams were staying at the hotel. Two men who were present when the mailbox was damaged were identified during the investigation and police recovered evidence of the crime. Adam Jorgensen, 18; Kyle Dabaets, 18, and Jesse Maguire, 18, were arrested on charges of minor in possession and jailed. Maguire had also been charged with destruction of property. All three men had been released from jail by Wednesday morning.
Three players, Dillon Benson, 16; Calvin Yelkin, 17; and Luke Sumovich, 18, were cited on charges of minor in possession of alcohol and released. Whether players were arrested or cited was based on officer discretion, Wasson said."Hank Iba decided he wouldn't play my team anymore.
